Once the camera’s rolling, the shoot becomes a conversation.
- Talk with your photographer throughout. They can see things through the lens you can’t feel from inside the pose.
- You know your own body best. Speak up about what’s flattering and what isn’t.
- After a pose, hold for a beat in case they want another shot or a check, then move on or shift your expression slightly.
- Stay relaxed. Not every frame will land, and that’s normal. It’s exactly why photographers shoot so many.
