I’ve got a lens to test, and before I trust it with a paying client or a personal project, I want to really get to know it and how it handles light, how it renders skin and texture, where it’s sharp, where it gets dreamy. The best way I know how to do that is to actually shoot with real people, in real sessions, not just point it at a wall.

So: I’m looking for a few volunteers to collaborate with me between July 11th and July 16th.

Here’s how it’ll work. Sessions can run anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours, depending on what we end up shooting and how the lens is behaving that day. I’m blocking out two hours by default, just to make sure we’re never rushed, but we’ll talk through the real expectations together before your shoot day so there are no surprises or guessing. You are welcome to bring someone along with you to the shoot. I want to ensure you feel comfortable and safe.

This is a TFP-style collaboration: there’s no fee, and in return, you’ll walk away with digital copies of the final edited images to use however you’d like.
